WHO IS Elinda?

Elinda Xiao is a Chicago-based lifestyle illustrator-designer creating lively visual storytelling for publication, brands, and place. She has a BFA in Illustration Design and a minor in Social Innovation from the ArtCenter College of Design in Pasadena, California.

Inspired by twentieth-century media and retro branding with a future-forward eye, Elinda’s work is intricately drawn, incorporating mediums such as gouache, ink, and watercolor with digital painting to create a retro-inspired but distinctly modern “tradigital” style. 

Beyond design, Elinda enjoys yoga, film photography, and reading the Wikipedia articles of TV shows she promised her friends she would actually watch. ✿
