WHO IS Elinda?

Elinda Xiao is a Chicago-based editorial illustrator-designer creating visual design for publications, brands, and destinations. She has a BFA in Illustration Design and a minor in Social Innovation from the ArtCenter College of Design in Pasadena, California.

Inspired by twentieth-century media and retro branding with a future-forward eye, Elinda’s work is intricately drawn, incorporating mediums such as gouache, ink, and watercolor with digital painting to create a retro-inspired but distinctly modern “tradigital” style. She particularly enjoys creating travel illustration.

Beyond design, Elinda enjoys yoga, film photography, and reading the Wikipedia articles of TV shows she promised her friends she would actually watch ✿
