Illustrated map created in partnership with Regent Santa Monica Beach, for their city-wide activation celebrating 100 years of Route 66.

I drew inspiration from mid-century roadtrip postcards and paper maps to capture the specific, easy-going warmth of Los Angeles. Having gone to college in Pasadena, I was able to include some of my own favorite icons, lending a travelogue feel to this wide-reaching project.
